A single software tool that produces worksheets, interactive
whiteboard content and large scale classroom displays, all designed to support
your teaching of cursive handwriting in school. Note: We no longer sell LottieScript, you can download the full product for free. Why Write a Handwriting Application?We feel it is important to increase children's exposure to cursive handwriting in an age dominated by computer generated, printed, text. We saw a need to bridge the gap between, for example, what pupils see on the Interactive Whiteboard and what they are asked to produce on paper - to allow one single representation of handwritten text everywhere it is produced. We also saw a need to provide a single tool that will output worksheets, visually stimulating displays and interactive whiteboard content, that teachers could quickly create themselves, to augment any lesson with handwritten content. To achieve this, we had to develop something totally new. We built a prototype, then, when we showed it to teachers, they told us how to make it even better and asked for a whole host of other features. They also told us that they needed LottieScript, because of the focus on basic skills and the difficulty of writing neatly and consistently, by hand, on an Interactive Whiteboard.
